Caller asked for President by first name, acting as if he knew him personally. When I informed him "Mr. ____" was not available and would he like to leave a message, he replied "no, I'll call back". With Caller ID I recognized the company as a repeat caller. The previous time, he was so arrogant he told me to tell the President he was calling and guaranteed me his call would be taken. Ha ha, his call was refused, so now he won't give me his name or leave a message and just says "I'll call back".
These people have been calling my business for over 3 years (we opened our business 3 years ago) looking for Bill Graft. At first I told them nicely that this was a business number and that there was no Bill Graft here, please quit calling. I have reported them to the do not call registry, reported them to the fcc, nothing helps. I have tried getting mad, their response is to laugh and put me on speaker phone and every one makes fun of me. Tried being polite, they respond rudely. So finally I told them I was Bill Graft (I'm female). Finally getting thru to them. I told them they wanted Bill so badly that I would be him. Long story short these people have been harrassing me for over 3 years. Really tired of this company.
Some guy called our business at 1506 hrs today, looking for the boss by asking for him by his first name only - the old, we're must be buddies because I know his first name ploy. I told him the boss doesn't work in the office, that he works on the road. The guy said he'd call back later. I repeated, firmly, "He doesn't work in the office. He works on the road." His response was, "Yup" and hung up. There's a piece! Gee, would I be in the slightest bit interested in doing business with someone like that? Nope.
