We receive calls from companies like this on a monthly basis. They are very rude and when I inquire on the nature of their phone call, they hang up or get nasty with me. Is there anything we can do against companies like this? I have placed our number on the do not call list and they continue to call. The worst part is they call early in the morning, being based out of the East coast, and wake me up.
I received calls couple months ago. When I asked who he was, what company he was from and what it was regarding he was rude and demanded to talk to the President of the company of course he did not. When he called back two more times and could not get through me he said "Are you listening?" I replied, yes. Then he said "F--- Off". Nice people. They have called twice this morning again. Rude as ever. Threatening me with how I will be in big trouble if he can't talk to my boss. I actully think it is kind of funny because the President is my husband.
Just received a call from a telemarketer that was shouting in my ear how we had talked on the phone before and that I should buy his securities because of this and that. I told him that I had no idea what he was talking about. I was in the middle of asking him to take me off his list and he hung up on me. This is ridiculous.
I just recieved a call from a rude man from this number. He asked for the owner of the company by his first name and when I said that he could not be reached in the office may I help you with something. He said, "no [***] it is personal, why are you so nosey, I will call his cell" and he hung up... how rude!
