This phone number is driving me crazy. They start very early in the morning and it continues all day. Once they happened to state my first name and whenever I asked who this is they hang up. Heavy middle eastern accent and will not identify themselves. The phone company states this is a private number but I still blocked them on my home phone. I wish someone would find out who these people are as they are literally driving me crazy. The other day I received 25 calls during one day. Always telemarketing noise in the background but how and what gives them the nerve to call me by my first name and what gives them the nerve to call early in the am waking up a day sleeper and late at night. This is why they got blocked but I want to know who they are and they need to be stopped. If I knew who they were could file a lawsuit against them to sue them for harassment. Shows no such listing on a reverse check. I hate these people. They are bothering me worse than anyone else. They will not stop and I cannot send a registered letter without knowing who they are.
When you answer this there is a lot of talking and then you keep saying hello hello after that I hang up. They call every Sunday for the past month between 9am-9:45am est time.
When I called the # back it states the # 333-4567 in area code 212 in not in service.
I answered, and after some moments they introduced themselves, with a lot of noise in the background, and asked if I was with Medicare or Medicaid so she could give me the information with nothing to sell. I said I had Tricare and she said Thank you, have a nice day.
Received call at 1:01pm on May 15, 2013. They tell me that my Windows Operating System sent them a message that my computer has a virus. They demanded that I turn on my computer and allow them to fix it. They claimed to received permission from Microsoft to do this. I told them I never gave my phone number to Microsoft. The website they wanted me to visit was not apart of Microsoft.
There has been other reports of this too. Microsoft does not do this. And even owners of Apple Computers receive this call too, even when they don't use Windows for Macs.
