Am not sure that a scam can get any dumber. Some dude with an Indian accent, claims to be calling about my computer problem. These people must operate on the assumption that if they call you enough times, that eventually your brain might be be so badly impaired, that you would believe the nonsense they are peddling. Have been ignoring and blocking these calls for a long time, but finally picked up today and yelled at them (doubt they care - but seemed appropriate).
This number called me on 9/18/2014 @ 3:44 PM. I get so many telemarker unwanted telemarketer calls now that I don't answer calls to numbers I do not know. There was nothing on this site yesterday, so I left no message. I'll not let that stop me for future new telemarketer calls.
Caller spoke with a heavy accent. He said that he was from Windows and I had a virus on my computer. After I stopped laughing, I told him that I did not have a computer and I hung up. I am pretty sure that he wanted me to pay him to fix the computer that I do not have. BEWARE, pretty sure this is a SCAM!!!
They have called us 3 times today on 2 different numbers. They claim they are computer technicians and want to have us do some steps on our computer to fix it.
Called and kept saying "hello" into the answering machine. Definitely a call center, could hear lots of yammering in the background. These folks call periodically, and are are complete scum. Hard to keep them blocked because they keep changing numbers. Not only are they lowlife criminals, but their scam is moronic (calling because of computer problems ... yeah right).
