Just received a call from this number. Caller ID said Goldman, Sachs. I didn't answer and it hung up after 3 rings. So glad I have callee ID and can ignore calls if I want to!
I had a missed call as well from goldman sachs recently. I called it back and the recording says it is goldman sachs, but I had no extension to move further up the phone chain. I work for a non profit and when goldman sachs calls you don't ignore it. They don't leave a message because they are working on behalf of a donor and donor information is private information. They want to verify the recipient's address they have been given by the donor so the check they are sending reaches it's intended destination. You never know. It won't hurt to answer that call.
