Robocall asking for donations

Received a call from 212-361-6350 on 11/2/2013 at 2:38pm EST. Did not answer and the caller left an automated message.

The message was a political robocall from the New York League of Conservation Voters supporting the Proposition 4 New York State ballot referendum.

Politicians take note: If you resort to annoying robocalls you will not get my vote. These calls should not be exempt from the DNC list.

I have added this number to my Google Voice block list.

Political calls are exempt from DNC registry. Nothing you can do about it...period.

I received yet another annoying robo call - from this number claiming to be from Senator Carl Marcellino.  I called his office but his staff kept claiming it wasn't them and they couldn't do anything to stop it.  REALLY?  A SENATOR's office admitting they are powerless to effect change?  A good reason to vote for anyone other than Carl Marcellino if he can't stop phone calls claiming to be coming on his behalf.
I pledge to vote against ANY politician on whose behalf I get robo calls.  That way, it's incumbent on them to stop them because they have more of an interest than anyone in keeping their job.  If politicians won't try to solve this problem, why should I believe they are competent to solve any other?
