This makes sense that that Amex would use untrackable numbers, though I don't owe them any money, there are many other complaints of people having other issues from this phone number, which leads me to believe that this is a number setup for spoofing purposes only, which i suppose is probably all legit, through Amex's eyes.
But at the same time, there are so many reports of other people spoofing this number, and prank calls from the number, so this just nags at a another question, in my mind....
Is American Express, and/ or other telephone agencies (telemarketers or uknown third parties) hiring third-party tech companies parties to provide numbers that would be available for spoofing? and or/ who all would be paying to get their hands on lists random spoffable numbers? seems like there could be alot of underground people/ hackers with demand for such a service.... I'm going to check into this little bit... on linked in, it says that felix works for TLC Vision, have you guys ever tracked that down at all?
