Someone from 212-371-1000 called me yesterday. I could quite understand the guy but he said something about my computer being registered to me. We went back and forth for a bit trying for me to understand him but he eventually hung up. Called the number back today and it is some organization for Catholics in NY. Definitely a scam.
Got 2 calls from a man with a heavy Indian accent at this number. He said he was from the "technical department" and wanted to talk about my computer. I asked him which company he works for and which computer of mine he was referring to-- his answer was that he was from my "Windows computer" company and "needed some information from me"... uh, ok. no.
Just got a call from this number...same comments as above...man with heavy Indian accent saying he was from the technical department. Very vague and kept wanting me to type stuff on my computer to "stop it from generating errors". I googled the number and came across this site. Told them I just looked them up, that they were a scam and to never call me again! DON'T ENGAGE WITH THESE PEOPLE!!
