First got a text message from "8877" saying my Bank of Lancaster bank account access had been locked and I should call (212) 372-7501 to restore it. (even though I'm not a customer) Then got a phone call from "719" and they left a message saying the same thing. Bogus.
Sent me a text saying the following:
"Dear Bank of Lancaster Customer, we regret to inform you that we had to lock your bank account access. Call 212-372-7501 to restore your bank account."
Out of curiosity, I called the number and it asks for your credit card number and expiration date! Clearly a scam/fraud thing!
"Dear Bank of Lancaster Customer, we regret to inform you that we had to lock your bank account access. Call 303-997-1175 to restore your bank account."
Number has been temporarily disconnected. Obvious scam
