i had a missed call from this number, i called back and she said she wanted to have a casting with me today. i told her i wasnt in new york and what agency was this calling? she got an attitude and said dont reply to castings if your not in new york and it doesnt matter what agency this is from. wtf, yes it does?
thanks to this website i dont have to worry about it cause it was clearly a scam.
So I just finished calling this number...I first had a missed call this morning, had no idea who was calling and decided to call back and find out. A woman answers, I told her I had a missed call and then she says "Do you have an agent, a manager, are you with the union?" I then say "Can I please know whose calling me?" then she says "hold on"...."Would you like to come in today or tomorrow for an interview"...I then say...."I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHOSE CALLING ME!"...she says "hold on"..."I'm just an answering service, if you'd like your questions answered please try to give us a call later" then proceeds to hang up.
.....I was entirely confused on WHY she couldn't answer my question on who was calling me in the first place! lol how are they gonna ask me to come in for an interview without telling me who they are first?! doesn't make any sense. These people are retarded...I'm glad I found a bunch of posts telling me that these people are a scam.
Yeah I just got a call from this number after applying to some craigslist castings. I learned my lesson.
I looked it up immediately because it sounded super sketchy. I found a blog where all these women were posting about how they had paid this fake modeling agency $300 for a phooshoot. They are robbing young, naive girls. I called the number back and as soon as I told her I had looked her number back, she hung up on me. I called back and left her a message saying I was reporting her to the police and the better business bureau.
