Caller asked to speak with "name of man" and identified himself as Gabriel.  Since "name of man" was not home, I being the "spouse" asked what this call was in reference to.  Gabriel said he was from National Securities in NY and asked if "name of man" was available. I asked if he was a telemarketer and Gabriel stated National Securities is a full service broker. I told Gabriel, "name of man" was not at home and asked him what he was soliciting. Gabriel said he wasn't soliciting anything but wanted to speak to "name of man" about mailing him his business card and some other information. Gabriel asked me "spouse" if I ever heard of National Securities. I told Gabriel no.  Gabriel was avoiding the real purpose of his call since I was not "name of man." Gabriel proceeded to ask for "name of man's" work phone number. I advised him that I could not give out his work phone number. I told Gabriel that I was a Financial Services Compliance Officer. Gabriel then ended the call.
