Received a call from this number and gentleman identified himself as Dan Quinn with National Security. My boss was on the phone, he said that he would like to hold, so I put him on hold. Later I picked up and he was still on the line and he chose not to leave a message or hold any further.
persistant buggers! The ask for the owner when told he is not in and asked if they want to leave a message they reply no I will try later.....good luck with that...

"Out of area" 212-417-4024 RUDE NY SOB's, The person they are trying to reach has a unique name and they don't even try to pronounce it right. No Name on ID, Mispronounced name, no message = this call is NEVER going to get to the owner of this comapny.
I got the same call. Instead of lying to him and saying my boss wasn't in, I told him he was pronouncing his name wrong and that my boss doesn't take sales calls. He thanked me for not lying to him and mentioned how its very very very easy to tell when secretaries lie to people like him. He said he usually hangs up on thsoe people because.... lets face it... who wants to talk to a liar.
This guy was quick to the point. My boss wasn't in so he was on to the next call. Nothing wrong with that. alais smith&jones takes herself a little too serious if she thinks anyone cares about a word she is saying.
