Called asked for Bob by name. I asked if I could have Bob call him back that Bob was on the other line and he hung up on me.

This person calls waits for us to answer, identify ourselves and hangs up.  The wait until they hear who answers the phone and then hang up.

Call asked for me by name and hung up when they discovered I wasn't home

Jeremy Martin from National Securities called and asked for owner of the company. Wasn't putting the call through and he hung up when I put him on hold.

Call came though at my work number. I let it ring and once it hit voice mail they hung up.
