I just got the same phone call. A woman with an accent introduced herself as LIna Vascara and said she wanted to speak with the owner. When i informed her that i was the owner, she said that i wasn't and insisted on speaking with the owner. When i asked her the nature of her business she said she just wanted to speak with the owner saying "I just told you didn't I? Can't you hear?". This person was very rude with her tone and remarks.
I called back using my caller ID, i was disconnected. I called back again and another woman with an accent said that this was the answering service. When i asked the company name she rudely said "MMG". I couldn't understand her and she would not tell me what MMG was. She was insisting that "it's an answering service can't you hear?". Very odd!

a Lina Vascara left a vm. The number she left was (212)809-2900 and says it's her cell phone, but the caller ID says (212)422-6359. I called back and she was very rude and couldn't really understand her because of her thick accent. She wanted to know all my company's information, but didn't want to give the reason why she called and who they are. I told her that I was the owner of the company and didn't like the way she was talking to me. I told her to never call back again!
I had spoken to her receptionist and she said that they are AMG (Affiliated Managers Group), so I called the corporate office and they said they don't have such an office in New York and there isn't a Lina Vascara in their employee database. Crazy, huh??!!
