Just to give everyone a heads up, as of 10/19/2010 DL Recovery has changed their name and phone number, all other numbers have been disconnected; got this info from my original creditiors. D.L. recovery is now called International Finance Services Group. The phone number is 1-212-643-9999 be very careful with them Do not pay these scammers any money deal with the original creditor!!!!!

They are not registered to collect debts from New York City residents as required by law.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the date of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

they keep on calling threatening to come in take my property away theyre telling me that the there police officers with the court order they call me ridiculously ignorant where they said theyre coming in my house and taking all the blame you belong to me and the people that live with me this needs to stop rasing me.

I keep getting harrasing calls from this number. I dont know why they calling me. They call my employer. I dont know who those people are. They keep saying that they want to come to my job that they need to meet with me and give me some paperwork. Please help they dont stop harring calls they call more then 5 times in one minute.
