A telemarketing scam calling themselves “Senior Safety Alert”, “Senior Emergency Care” or “Senior Safe Alert” or other name or just the person's name.
In this example - no product or business name: Prerecorded telemarketing calls presume a friend or relative or yourself bought a personal emergency alarm system. This alarm is claimed to be like first alert or as seen on TV to help protect seniors in the event of break-ins or medical emergencies. Example: Hi this is John or Brian from the shipping department your relative bought this for you to use (of undisclosed company) Press 1 it said - yet do not give name and address. Perhaps ship it to you - yet perhaps credit card is need - they pretend to know you and pretend its paid for.
Medic alert scam... no option to opt out pressed 1 got a total jerk who decided to argue with me when I said take this number off the calling list... I did manage to waste a few minutes of his time... Thought he was being clever arguing with me... I'll quite happily waste these guys time...
Got a call from this number today (8/27/2015) at around 2 PM Mountain Time. Caller ID was "CREATE,INC 1-212-663-1395". Let it roll thru to voice mail. They didn't leave a message. Added them to my Panasonic phone's Call Block List. They might call again; but they won't be getting thru anymore.
