At 10:35am today, .. Tuesday, March 29th, 2011 I received a phone call from this #: 212.683.4402. The caller from that # apparently left me a Voice-Mail msg, but when I dialled in my code, [to access the phone message], I heard a male voice speaking to someone in the background, .. but NOT speaking into the mouthpiece of the telephone communication device he was using, & then a click & the call was DISCONNECTED!! This is a phone number in the city of New York, .. The Big Apple, .. I KNOW that area code, as well as knowing without the shadow of a doubt that this call was generated from a company located in the borough of Manhattan, because in my salad days, I actually lived in that borough, & am STILL familiar with the telephone numbers in that area. I don't have a Clue what these people wanted from me, nor why they'd call my number in Florida, nor why in leaving a Voice-Mail msg, they'd just say NOTHING, & then DISCONNECT!!?? I want this type of communication to my Private Non-Published telephone number to CEASE & DESIST, PERIOD! I have NO TIME, nor ENERGY for such NONSENSE as was this waste of time phone call!! Please be Advised! Remove my name & information from your Data Base, because I have absolutely NO INTEREST whatever in what ever SCAM they're trying to perpetrate, or shove down my throat, no matter how they try!!
It's Life Alert. I just wanted some info for my mom and they've called me twice in one hour. I'm ignoring them. They don't leave a message either. The info they sent was worthless too. I wanted to know the program they have, how it works, how the monitoring works, the price, etc. All I got was a pamphlet of scare tactics and now they are calling me ad nauseum!
Jeanne, I agree totally with everything you said. I wanted the same info and what they sent was a big nothing. I've called and spoke to Tanika (taneeka) and asked them to take me off the list. This company should not be allowed to advertise on any TV station. I think it was HLN where I heard about First Alert. They call and hang up sometimes more than 6 times a day. Even though I called them, it did absolutely no good. It appears to me that this company has more time than product or money on their hands. They should not be allowed to advertise on any TV station, nor should they be allowed to harrass people as they do. Do they really think that anyone would buy from them after the sick behavior they show????? DUH!!!!!!
