offered to build a website, saying they received my information from the public domain. When inquired about how I may also access this public database, they told me "it's just a system we use internally" and refused to offer additional information.
Gotten a couple calls from this bunch. I thought I had blocked them in my call blocker, guess not as I got another call today.
I think this is likely a scammer not a real business. If they were actually in the website design business as they reportedly told others, you would think they would have a website showing off their previous website designs. I found nothing when I put their name (as listed in the first post) on the web in New York.
I did some further checking. This time on the address, it belongs to an iStore-Ecommerce storefront. They sell Ecommerce software. But their phone number does not match the one calling us. Further evidence that this could very well be a scammer.
