The kid was an [***] when I answered. He would NOT tell me what company he actually works for, he would just say Visa, Mastercard and other cc companies. I don't use my cell # for bills so it wasn't my cc company. Then when I asked him to remove me from their calling list, he said, with major attitude "ok" and hung up on me. How do these people, get my cell phone# & get the right to harass you when they call you. It really pissed me off. And not for nothing, if I can't reach you at the number you called me from, I'm certainly not going to give you my information to lower my cc rates!!!
Several companies will register their numbers as charitable organizations in order to avoid FCC sanctions on abusive calling practices. You being registerd on a Do not call list does you no good. There is no point in you postin on here that you are or to remove you. These companies will spoof numbers to block the number they are calling from. So next time you get a call from them make sure you keep them on the phone ad long as you can and obtain as much info as you can and try to record the info. Once you have credible info on these subjects you take it to your local police station and file a fraud complaint as they are attempting to obtain your credit card info. Since they are in a different state than the one your getting calls from it will be stated as a federal case and eventually the fbi will get involved. Be proactive...
