I received a call 6.2.12 @ 4:15 and pressed 9 to talk to a representative. I asked to please be taken off the call list and this was the reply, "Why are you screaming?!" "Stop screaming at me [***]." and then I was hung up on. I can assure you that I was not screaming. I have much more intelligence and human decency than that.
These guys are great. I told them to remove me from their list and not call any more. They said it would be $100 to do that. I laughed at the guy. We cussed at each other a few times, then had a very bizarre conversation for about 10 minutes.
They clained to be a Chimmey Cleaning Co and wanted to clean our. We don;t have a chimmey. When I called the number it was reported as a non-working #.
Called wanting to lower credit card interest. Explained was not interested and to please remove our # from calling list. Person rambled on and when i asked again to remove our name; caller hung up.
I saw that the call was from out of state and didn't answer it. I called the number back less than a minute later and I got a recording saying the number was 'out of service'. There is no doubt that this is a scam. Don't answer the call when you see the (212) Area Code. You will probably get charged a huge amount on your cell bill.
