Same here! Same number and the "00000" number. Seldom leaves voicemail but when it does just says "bye" what in the world? I applied for a job but don't want to answer numbers I don't know.
yep they're calling me too - it sounds like telemarketing noise in the background -
but today, a girl left a message singing "i love you i'll never let you go" yada yada, so weird. maybe they didn't realize they hadn't hung up yet and were singing along with their stereo?

Started August 3rd with the 000-000-0000, then on August 5th switched to (212) 710-6049. Calls at least 3 times a day. I never answer and they never leave a message
The same number has been calling me at least three times a day. If I answer they say hi then hang up. If they leave a message it is just noise. Same thing was happening with the 000-000-0000 number. Really, really annoying. And semi-creepy.

Well, I have been continually harrassed by these people for weeks, averaging 5 to 6 calls per day. Today I finally answered the phone and actually spoke with someone! He told me he is with a company called College Degree Locator. I told him no one in our household is presently looking to obtain a college degree and asked him how he got my number. He said it was through some business (apparently unknown) that I have dealt with previously. I asked him to remove our number from their list. He said he would and that it would take about 7 days for it to go into effect. Here's hoping . . .
