Same guys as 718-200-6767. They raise rates and try to scam you. They hire non-citizens for $12 an hour and then abuse them as well as the customer. SCAM. See listings under other number.
I used them and they raised the rates on me too! which I paid because I need movers, they we're early and bitched because we didn't tip them and now we can't find our $1600 video camera!!, my friend called them because now they won't call me back and they said their names were "Ocean Movers" and they were insured.
I used those guys twice. I was happy with their service. Last time, I moved from upper east side to Chelsey September 28, 2008. They are really nice. First, I made sure they are licensed and they did my job fast and nicely.They did show up promptly at 9 am, wrapped my furniture and dissembled my bed.
The foreman was polite and aware of what I need. I paid $360 for 3 hours of work and one hour travel time. And I'm happy because last time flat rate movers moved me for $850. I really recommend to use these guys!!!
Worst scam ever. I called these people. They were 3 hours late. When they arrived, a $360 job became $750. Before they got started, they went out for lunch. Which was fine, because I knew they had been moving all day. And THEY NEVER CAME BACK. My fiance and I were stuck, in two separate apartments with no one to move us to our new apartment. Worst business ever. I tried to hunt down their business as well to report them, but like the other postings, they were not legit. They won't answer my calls or call me back. Suprise. Disgusting, dishonest people. I'd do anything to have searched this website before I booked.
They scammed me yesterday. Arrived 3hours late, and came with 3 people instead of 2 and tried to charge us 50% more because they braught a 3rd guy... and asked for an additional hour for travel time (it was not specified with us when we booked it) which we did not need because we only had few furnitures, they put our stuff on the sidewalk and because we refused the deal, they left us with our stuff on the sidewalk... I will hunt them down. The name they gave was : B-Universal Inc.
The EXACT same thing happen to me today! They purposely run late until you are in a panic and have to pay them double. I wish I would have thought to google their phone number before today!
