On July 22, 2008 my wife answered a call from this number. She was told that the ballot she filled out at the Almonte Fair the weekend before was the winner of a free vacation in Orlando for 4 people. Then she was asked to call me to the phone too and that we both have to take a pen and paper and to listen what follows. Then the lady started to tell the details of vacation.
We were told that we will receive a confirmation of the vacation with all the details within 1 hour on our e-mail address. Finally, the lady told us to get this "free" vacation we have to pay a Promotion Fee of $ 299.00 per person and asked for the credit card number. In my opinion, prizes for which you have to pay to receive are suspicious. Therefore I told the lady that I dont' make the decision right nouw under pressure and that I don't provide my credit card information. After this, the lady abruptly disconnected the call.
When I searched for the nubmer I was told that it is an unpublished listing in NY.

Same as 212-741-7603. They advised I had won an 8-day vacation cruise in Florida & Bahamas w/ vouchers valued at over $3500, which I signed up for at a local bar. They already had my correct address and phone number to send the vouchers. All they needed from me was a credit card number to put $299 deposit for each person ($598 total) to hold my spot. They said this was being offered as a way to promote the Ramada resorts.
