The call was to offer me lowering my credit card interest rate to 6.9% - no identification whatsoever, so I know it was not legitimate nor was it my credit card bank. RUN!!! I blocked the number on my cell phone.
Recorded woman's voice claimed to be from "Account Services" -- didn't say which credit card but offered to lower interest rates if I called them. Then said to press 1 to talk to a rep. I pressed 1 and it hung up on me. No one answers that line.
What a lame scam. I don't get it.
Like others, I got a pre-recorded message asking me to take advantage of an offer to lower my credit card interest rate. The message did not identify which credit card company it was calling from.
