Do Not Call is a BIG JOKE - I just got a new number and low and behold! It was already on the DNC list and I could not renew the block!! Just got a call from 212 775 9531 - it came to my 'work' number and as soon as I heard the recording, I hung up! How stupid can people be! Wish they would think about getting REAL JOBS rather than being so annoying all day long.
The caller had an urgent message about my "credit card" did not mention any specific card, so hung up. This is frequent caller, but if you try to call back, get a recording saying this number not in use!
Just got a call and picked up and agin some blabber about a credit card so I just hung up. I am pretty sure I am going to just get my phone disconnected and use my cell. I get calls from all kinds of scammers daily.
Just got a call offering to lower my credit card interest rate and when I said on which card, he started guessing card names. When he said I had a 15% interest rate and I said no I didn't, he said "oh I meant 12%". I said are you sure? I told him he was wrong and he yelled at me! He said "Tell me the interest rate lady!" I said " NO thank you" and he yelled "YOU SUCK!". I tried to call back to report his behavoir and the number is not in use.
