I keep recieving threatening calls from this number says she is a debt collector she also calls my boss directly yelling and being very rude to her to put me on the phone, every time i call back the line is busy or i have to leave a message, our caller id shows 314-678-0985 and when I call it computer says phone number is out of order. We warned her not to call again and she will call over and over about 10 time befor she stops for the day

It's a scam, they claimed I had an online payday loan and they didn't even have my last 4 of my ssn correct. It's not a real company, because real companies don't cuss at their "debtors". I work for a collection agency and everything they have done and said has gone against the privacy act, plus the fact that I never had a payday loan. Tell them u are filing a police report for harassment and it should stop, if not the really file one, my coworker had to do it.
I received a call from this lady today at work. Her name was Jennifer, but she was clearly asian. My boss answered the phone and she was very rude to him, demanding him to put me on the phone. After he questioned her and refused to put me on the phone, she gave him a bogus number for me to call her back on, it was a busy signal. She also called my cell phone from 1-916-395-000 and left a message for me or my attorney to call her back immediately and that I should not ignore this message. I gave my boss her number she left on my cell phone, we Googled it, and we called her back and told her that her company was going to be reported to the FBI and made her aware that we knew it was a scam. She continued to be rude and called my boss an A**hole and F'ing D*ckhead. She was told that she better not call back. I made a report with the Police Dept in the city where I work. They were VERY polite about it, and they said they would further investigate this company "Monitoring Crime Unit". I guess my next step is to report them to the Higher Up's. I was thinking to myself, If this is a legitimate collection, where is my paperwork showing it? I know I do have outstanding collections, but how strange is it that you can get a call like this and they won't tell you who you actually owe!!
I have also gotten numerous calls from this number. The names are all very common.. Gail Smith, Thomas Smith. Jennifer, etc but each person has a very strong asian accent. When they call the number on caller ID shows 0000 but they leave VM asking me to call 212-796-4613 stating it is very time sensitive and that they are from the State Investigation Unit. That my name and social ending in **** is under investigation. They direct me to call back or have my attorney call. They then (I guess bc i did not answer the cell) called my work. The lady became very ugly... cussing. I told her I had filed a report with local police and gave her their number and My attorneys (he is my divorce lawyer, but hey she doesn't know that) #. She hung up on me.. that was Friday. NOW today a new guy calls back and starts it up again. When i direct him to the local police and my attorney he starts laughing and asks what i had for lunch. when I would not answer he stared saying.. ahh you think u so smart but u really just a dumbass who just had her last free [***] lunch, hope u enjoy". then he hung up. WOW how do i stop this?
Funny thing is my husband and I just sat down and went over credit reports and debts.. after a 2 yr unemployment time we are both employed and are getting back on track ... so I know I do not owe anyone money that i ahve not already contacted to set up payments. AND from reading previous comments it seems these people say they are from payday loans?? I ahve never had one....
this number shows up on my caller ID as 0000, they have left two voice messages claiming they are a legal office and what to hear back from me or my attorney and wishing me luck if they don't hear back from myself or my attorney , I can't understand the name of the person who is calling me, I am saving the message just in case. I have recieved calls from 0000 at work and on my cell about three months ago, and it got ugly, I reported it to the police and several other places, but now they are calling me again. I am going to try and avoid this time around, but I'm sure they will call me at work and harrass me again. I don't have time to deal with these people again, I don't know what they want, because I don't even want to deal with this harrassment again, especially at work.
