Caller posed as Special Agent in charge James Hunt of the US DEA. Threatened a warrant and arrest for purchasing online diet pills. Had my old address and cell phone and purchase history. Who knew buying Hydroxycut was illegal. (Total scam!) Rambled on and on about my arrest and search, extraditing to the Dominican Republic because the drug dealers were arrested and waiting for trial but he offered to speak to the us attorney on my behalf. His mistake was putting me on hold while I searched the name and number. Trying to extort money by telling me I can pay a civil fine out of court. When I started questioning him he became irate and threatened my arrest even more. Confirmed with my brother In Law who is DEA that this is a big scam and to report it immediately.
Got the same call telling me I bought weight loss pills in 2009 when I wasn't even living in the country. Scared the [***] out of me until he started asking me fora $9,000 fine and thats when I realized it was a scam.

If you wouldn't have taken this call in any way, this "James Hunt" character would have to try scaring somebody else. No kind of answer (automatic included), it's a bad time to be a con artist since they're worthless without a potential victim. Don't make a mistake of answering unknown callers at all if you're able, and certainly don't get into arguments with thieves, either.
