Ruffalo Cody is not a telemarketer. They are a perfectly legitimate for profit fundraising company that is employed by Universities. They will call all alumni for donations.
THEY MAY BE LEGITIMATE - BUT NEVER EVER SHOULD YOU DONATE THROUGH THEM!!!
Here is why. They keep about 70% of all donated money for their operations, salaries, and profits. The schools hire them because they do not have the resources to solicit money, and they figure that 30% is better than no percent.
If you want to donate to your school, simply tell the Ruffalo Cody rep to go "blank themselves," and hang up. Then, just call your schools alumni office and donate directly. Your school gets 100% and you are not supporting a company that annoys you with phone calls.
