they've been calling for 10 days even tho I've told them we have no debt and have never done business with any of the companies they claim we have. they won't stop calling!
This agency is calling my new cell phone to try and collect money from a person named "Ben"... I am not Ben and do not know a Ben. I also have received numerous other calls from other collection agencies in N.Y. for this person, who obviously closed his cell phone account to stop getting harassing phone calls. It's not easy to get them to quit, although the rest finally stopped after I contacted the N.Y. Attorney General and reported them. Good luck to those of you in my situation.
Have called twice now. First time was a hang-up. Second time he began to speak but only got a partial "hello" in before my cellphone dropped the call.
I did a reverse lookup and found they are a collection agency in New York. Considering I don't live in the USA and don't have any debt, I have to wonder why they are calling.
