I just sat through the entire show and was already doing my research. The money part was a real show stopper, it was $6k plus $60 a month maintenance with no absolute end in site. While this "may" be a good deal, you have to be in a place where you have extra money to wait it out. So the saying, you need money to make money is true. There is not anything negative, that I could find, on this group but like my bank, they want something from me that I don't have currently. Short sale, even though Hector (thinking all are Hector in the room talking to others) says the bank wins, cost me less money than waiting for something that they won't guarantee. They are quick to point out some success but would not guarantee me anything other than collecting my money.

Call came from a Hector who says that he works for Real Estate Law Center Out of CA. The law office of Chad T-W Pratt. He was offering me help with my HFBC mortage loan. They had a great presentation but wanted $6,000.00 to take my case. I am a little unsure of this. But what he said did make sense and sounded good. There are just so many scams out there. I would love to keep my home but I think that it is time to cut my loses.

in California, the loser has to pay court cost. if they feel they have a good case, tell them to take it on contingency. this way they will get paid if they win the case.

I got a call from Hector Real Estate Law Center Out of CA  too, offering to reduce the  principal on my property and  to take my case I need to pay $5,000 dollars and 60 dollars per month until the case end, that it normally takes about 6 to 9 moths he said.
The presentation sound very good I just wish that I could get some feedback from anyone that  this company actually helped.

My dear Carlos, what if the case take years to settle? Or you never get a reduction? Remember, this is only a promise to get it reduced. 'An offer' - No guarantee. If you sign an open end contract - you pay until it's finished. Or what if they get your principle reduced after a year by $2,000.? You've lost $3,720.00. Please remember that presentations are always made to look fantastic in your favor. I would tell you to consider looking at help from non-profit groups.
