Just got a call from "Armando" who said he was just calling to verify my number and who answered at it. I work for LAUSD and he, when asked, refused to identify who he was working with. That's not in accord with district practices, so I'm pretty sure he's not with the district. He stated that this was just "an anonymous call," and then hung up.
Just did some googling research. I think the name of the company that uses the automatic enter your 6 digit pass-code crap that calls an [***]-load of times is Subfinder. Can't find contact info anywhere yet, but If i do I'll let you know.

they are going to listen to your story and say they'll pass it on to one of the technicians. i'm currently waiting for a call back to confirm that my number has been taken out of their system...but this is the 3rd time i've tried it! it works for a few weeks, but they start up again.

let him know that you want your name and number removed from their system, tell him EXACTLY what the message says, and he'll get to work for you. if it says "classified assignments" or something else like that, tell him! that will narrow down the different sub unit dialers he'll have to go through to find your number. should take about 48 hrs to take effect.
