This may be a bad idea. I am unsure if it is considered impersonating a police officer or not (my bad). Sometimes I offer a really nasty offer in a little known foreign language and then keep repeating "what" in that language until they give up.
I received a call two days ago from the same number. A woman claimed she was from the US Treasury Dept. nd I am to receive a $10,000 grant that I would not have to pay back. Scam.
On 3/2/14, between 8 and 9:30 Hawaii time, I was twice called from this number. My greetings were ignored and they twice hung up on me. It amazes me that (supposedly) everything we do in this country is now monitored and recorded, yet nothing can be done about rude jerks misusing the telephone. I know better than to waste my time complaining to authority. Maybe this notice will help someone else to know they are not alone in their frustration.
