Hi,
these guys are callign from India to help for internet issues and make money, they have solved my laptop connection , anything like scam I did'nt notice.
This is BS. If you have a computer issue that needs to be fixed, you should be the one to call a technician, not the other way around. You wouldn't trust anybody other than your car dealer or a mechanic who you already had a relationship with if they called to tell you that you needed service on your car. Why would you trust someone from a company that you've never heard of who called you to tell you that you had a problem with your computer?
This smells like a scam to me, and should to you as well. If you've fallen for it, I'm sorry for you.
I received a call from fixyaissue.com on my cell phone. Not sure how they got that number. She went on about how my system had a virus and apparently Microsoft notified them of this "fact". She asked me to go to a website and download a program that would allow her to remote control my system and got rather indignant when I told her I would not allow her on my system. I asked which system I was having the issue with and she said it was my main one. Of the 7 running here I am not sure how she would know which is primary. I suspect big time scam!!
We received a call from this number at 3 pm May 9. The caller ID: name not found 11000000000. They left a message saying that they had received notification from the US Government that our Internet speed was slow due to a virus attack and to please call them back ASAP at 213-221-2831 so they could fix my computer. It was obviously a scam. I did not call the back.
