Who called from 2132214800

its some guy saying that he is from united kingdom and that he needs all my information so that he can compensate me and get to know me. he is calling at my work number and is not even asking for anyone in particular. he has called 5 times in a row in the last 15 minutes.

Do you mind me asking...what type of business are you in.  We got a call from the same number.  He said he was calling from Switzerland and had a bunch of questions about our product.  It was just weird.

I have been receiving calls and emails from this guy who says his name is Jonathan Smith. He inquired about 40 car covers to be shipped to:

Accra, 11233
Ghana/West Africa

He wants us to use:

Express Shipping Company
Mr. Phillip Johnson
Int. Shipping & Freight Logistics Dept.

Jonathan wants to order the car covers, use this shipping company, pay with a credit card then wire the shipping charges to Express Shipping Company as they don't take credit cards. When I confronted him and told him I needed cash up front or a credit card number that I would verify through my merchant account he sent and email stating that it's unfortunate that we cannot do business.

Pretty positive this is a scam, so be careful people, I have caught many people like this in the past. We are a legitimate business but can still be had by stolen credit cards.

He just sent 2 credit card numbers with $2,000 dollar limits and states once authorized he will call the bank to raise the limits. It sounds like he is fishing for the correct credit card number as the card numbers are really close together. Just confirmed by Merchant Account the cards are fraudulent. Credit Card company is cancelling cards with numbers that are close to the card numbers given.

This is a scam!!!

We had a similar experience from the same guy.  Whenever we get these mysterious emails with no REAL company or website I force them out by telling them that we do not except credit cards for overseas orders (and we don't) only Wire Transfers, once the money is the bank we ship 10 days later AND we do not allow them to pick up the products WE MUST SHIP them. So if they change their tune and want to ship to the USA we still will not allow them to pick up. They usually go away, they need to "talk to their supervisor". :)

He is now trying to purchase two stretch wrap machines as we speak from me.......  To be shipped to Arcca, Ghana.....  Dead give away was when I had him confirm the voltage requirements in Ghana.....
