I don't answer calls that show up on my caller ID as "UNKNOWN NAME." They really think people are this stupid. And yes, it was a ridiculous "IRS tax relief" scam call. They left a message and even gave instructions in case you want to "pass up" this offer or believe you've received this call in error and want to be removed. Yeah, I'm sure that works the same way as spam emails - as in, not at all.

Sounded like a recorded message. The woman speaking sounded upset that no one answered or else she was trying to sound threatening. Something about Tax Relief for people who owe the IRS more than $10,000. I have never made anywhere near enough to owe that much! Blocked the number!
