You pick up and nobody answers. You call the harassing number and get a Republican/conservative solicitation. Why would they deliberately set up a system to irritate potential donors? "They don't know anything about technology", you say. "They set it up but it doesn't work."
If that's true, how can anyone (even Republicans) be so stupid as to keep it going for TWO YEARS ? There are indications this kind of thing was going on as far back as the Romney campaign.
This is political vandalism from the left, and I think you're smart enough to see it.
I get this same call everyday as well. I am beginning to think is a plot by someone to annoy me and get me irritated with Republicans. (As if I need a reason to be irritated with anyone in government). I have had calls from Republican Party and they are always there because they want my money. There is no point in calling with no one on the calling side. I get calls that say Michael Boos who is Citizen United. I don't answer those either anymore, but the couple times I did a while ago, there was always someone there bugging me for a donation. I tell everyone the same thing. I don't donate to anyone over the phone. And please take me off your calling list does not seem to work either.
ID is TPC. Have no idea what they are. Don't care. Will not answer any call I do not recognize and when I check 800-notes and see entries, we block the calls. Buy a call blocker. The Do Not Call Registry is like most government services. Inefficient, and limited usefulness.
