Got a call from 213-228-3150. Recorded message said "If you want to repair your credit, lower your credit card rate. To speak to someone, press 9." I do not need to repair my credit. There was no company caller information stated. I did not press 9. When I did not respond, the call was disconnected on the other end.
A message was left on my VM at home, said her name was Anna Johnson with the IRS, said that I had a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call her right away. I couldn't get the area code of the phone # she left, too much noise on the line, last part of the phone # is 762-3656. That was not the number on my caller ID, it was 213-228-3150, so when I tried to call that # back, it is not a working #. I do not understand how someone makes a call from a "non-working phone number"! This # is also calling my cell phone. It shows, Los Angeles, CA, but no name for the number. I am definitely sure this is a SCAM. Since they are using the name IRS, i hope they catch them and put them under the jail.
