I received a call yesterday from 213 235-7278 and when I answered there was only a recorded message telling me that the IRS has a lawsuit against me, and they wanted me to provide my personal information "so they can verify my information" right..!!. They wanted to know my full name, my address, my social security number etc., and told me that I owed a very large amount of money to the IRS on taxes evasion and they were going to freeze all my assets, my bank accounts, my house and properties. The tone of their voice was Indian in nature (Indian as in the country of India). Me been an Spanish (bilingual) speaking person I asked to get somebody who can speak Spanish to provide me with all the legal terms the man was telling me (Michael Jones) and he told me that there was nobody there at the moment who could speak Spanish. Unbelievable that at the IRS offices in Washington would not have officers who could speak in Spanish I thought. That is when I confirmed that it was just an scam to try to get your personal information.
Don't get scammed by these scum's and ignore or block their number.
This is the 2nd call I've received purported to be from the IRS. The first one said the IRS was filing law suits against me. That call came from 509-537-0496, Pasco, Washington.. That had to be a week or 2 ago. Today's call sait it was the final call from the IRS. To call the above # immediately. I didn't answer the phone either time.
I've been called 4/7/16 and today 4/8/16 both dates at 10:22am and today at 12 pm it was a recorded message in the voicemail saying that the IRS has a lawsuit against me...lol and they want you to call back imidiately. Make sure to back this number and DO NOT call back, the IRS will never call you to threaten you they will send you leters to your home. So don't get scammed and ignore or block this number! They are praying on people that easily get scared just because someone claims they are the IRS. Red Flag!
I've received three calls from this number and it said I was being sued by the IRS, well I called it back and kept getting hung up on, I received these names and so called badge number Michael Jones IRM 2314 also a Jessica White IRM 1993. As soon as I told them I was reporting them to the local IRS they hung up on me. So watch it

I called it back...LOL! I told get my name was Julia Roberts...LOL. She didn't know any difference. JESSICA WHITE...yeah...an Indian lady that I could hardly understand and said get bane was jessica white. (206) 775-8302 was the number that called me today
