It is the LA Times. I've had trouble with delivery lately, either the paper is late or doesn't come at all. I've gotten a robo call from a similar number wanting to confirm if I got my paper yet. They called from (213) 237-6086.
I've gotten 3 hang ups since then, one from this number and the others from (213) 237-7161 and (213) 237-5099. It was within a half-hour on the same day too.
They are probably now calling to try to sell me the daily paper (I just get Sunday), but there's never any message, not even a recording.
