same here, they call asking to verify information, if they are bcbs as they say, they would know that information, i just said not gonna happen, thank you and hung up. something needs to be done here, the call rate i get from indian scammers is alarming, 3 different type of scams on 2 different numbers in last 3 weeks.
said they were with social security office and wanted to verify my info. Had wrong address ask me to give him my birthday and started asking me health questions. Had an accent from India. I never gave him any info and yelled THIS IS A SCAM and he said "have a good day" and hung up. i called # back and it was an answering machine that said leave a message at the beep.
woman with thick Asian indian accent claiming to be from my insurance verification department asking to verify my personal information. I told her to get someone who spoke better English so I can understand better what they want.
