Complete spam, The California Police Activities League (CALPAL). Called an odd cell phone number and wanted the wife (who is listed agent on some of our firms contact number). When directed not to call started the same old crap about being a non for profit (in theory Not for Profits and politician groups are exempt from the no call list, but they are not exempt from harassment laws and CA stalking laws). My only question is where do these people get the noisy room they all seem to call from.
Called me at home. Caller ID says CALPAL and the man calling wanted to talk to the owner of the Company. I told him he had the worng number and then he named our Company but I still told him he had the wrong number. he said he was sorry and would take our phone number off his call list. I'll have to wait and see if that really works.
Keep getting the tail end of an automated caller on my answering machine. Very annoying. Has called twice already. I need to be home to answer the phone to see if I can get off the call list.
