Got a call from this number person was selling home alarm system. Tv and cordless home phone, cell phones had static - worry now that somehow phones were bugged.
N.A.D. Car warranty scam ( I have 2 brand new cars w/ 5 years of warranty). Says I am expired and need the extended warranty? Yea... Right.
Have gotten these calls for a few years now (different name/numbers), and have reported them to the NationalDoNotCall Registry at least a dozen times. That works really well/*sarcasm)
Same format/call so I am sure it is the same scammers time after time, over and over. NDNCR does absolutely nothing at all. I have YET to hear or see a single press release/story in the news where the "Call Registry)" has aided in a single prosecution since 2003!. A GOOGLE search results in NOTHING as well.
Same Here. I just got the call. Caller Id showed N A D (213-256-0059). When I picked up, no one answers. I called back, just an engaged sound.
