Annoying calls, no messages, diff times during day

call was received from  (213) 257-5233 about 10:50 am PDST, no one spoke and caller hung up after a few seconds

Both wife and I are receiving repeated calls from this number.  Based on other reports, we don't answer.

If I get a call from a number I don't recognize, I hit ignore on my cell.

Reading through these posts, I wonder if someone's using a MagicJack and making these calls? I've seen it mentioned here before. They should remove that device from the market. Someone should call their nearest investigative reporter or Consumer's Union to check on this.

7-2-2015, approx. 9:30 am Pacific time, call on my cell phone.  could not see clearly the area code on the screen (213 = area unknown to me). So, mistakenly, I answered it. Nobody there.  Telemarketers = SCUM.  Many 213 calls in past few days, [all different "numbers" though].
