Receive multiple phone calls. They finally got a hold of me and asked me about my birthday address and phone number. I gave it to them. I was looking for insurance online so I though it was from coverd California. But once they transferred me to the agent she said it was with health solutions and said that he can give me a quote. Once I asked him to email me the information. I don't know if he hung up or it was a dropped call. He never called back. Now I'm just concern that they have my information.
This just happened to me 5 min ago and they kept saying i was going to be arrested and taken to court for fraud and sent to prison... IT IS A SCAM. He called himself David Cooper.
this [***] is telling me to resolve this situation within 30min and to go to cvs to get a pay card with the amount of 500.00....before he file lawsuit paperwork and get me arrested at my work.....can he do that? At first i was scared untill i called my lawyers and he told me he can't, its a scam...but i'm still nervous...about to delete my email address and make a new one....he have my last four digit of my social security number.....stupid abu!!!!!
They called me saying that I was being sued by a pay day loan company. Say they are federal attorney based in California. They asked me for my social security number.
I have been getting similar calls in previous weeks, but with different motives. the last call was telling me that I qualified for a government loan. Some accents.
I think it's the same call center.
Do they really think I'm that dumb?
I'd advise for people to reset their phones if they answered this call on their cell phones. If they are that desperate they might be siphoning information from your cell phone, or tracking you...
Same as I did this morning on my work phone number from 213.260.9143 telling me his name was Nathan Rice he is lawyer and I was accused of 3 counts of fraud SCAM SCAM SCAM. I never received a PayDay Loan - they also said if I did not pay I would be arrested. I have reported them to FTC www.ftc.gov.
