Just received a call from this number. It's clearly a call center. They asked for someone I've never heard of, & I told them they had the wrong number. She asked if I were the owner of the number and said, "We're supposed to call the owner of this number" (not suspect at all!). I said I was and that I'm at work. She said okay and hung up. I've had this number for years; if they were actually calling for whomever they named, s/he hasn't had this number in at least 3 years.
I have received calls from this number on numerous occassions with no response from the caller. It is quite annoying especially since I have my number on the DO NOT CALL list. Oh well. As long as my bill is not affected I guess I just have to say one day they will stop. I've learned to hit ignore.
these people have been calling me since july 5 2012 with the govt grant pitch. i have decided to file a report with the police department. my last call from them was filled with profanity. i hope to bring this to an end for all.
Man called asking for my wife by name. I asked him who was calling for her. In a rather thick Indian accent, he replied with a western name. I told him to add us to their do-not-call-list, to which he replied that they do not have such a list. Then, in an angry tone, he asked me who I was and that he he didn't want to talk to me but to my wife. I told him to F-off and hung up.
Just got a call from this number and I live in Canada!?! She didn't have the right name but told me I was eligible anyways - for what I don't know because the quality of the connection was so bad. I finally told her that I wasn't interested and hung up. I won't pick up if it's that number again.
