I too do not answer unknown calls. I'm in a hard situation myself right now and am not working after having 3 surgeries on my hands...and were barely making it now, but by the grace of god...we still have a roof over our kids head. I also noticed collection agencies will call from one number and then use on in your area code, assuming you'll answer the phone. NOT!!! I figure if it was that important, you'd leave a message. But all they do is hang up...which in my eyes is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! So they can keep calling cause eventually they'll stop and start up again.
You can file a complaint at the "do not call" registry. I just did. The more complaints they receive the harder they'll come down on the company. I have no debt. They have called before and really just do not care that they are annoying you.
they keep calling me as early as 8:00 a.m. and several times throughout the day. They hang up before I can answer the phone and never leave a message. I am a cancer patient and it is difficult for me to get to the phone. I am register with do not call registry, how do I get them to stop calling me?
Everytime they call just enter FTC DNC complaint in any websearch and it brings up the FTC DNC site where you fill out the box's and can make comments too then just click submit. This is for registered numbers on the FTC DNC already.
