got a call today from this number they told me they were a law firm and had my social security number . The guy I talked to was a real [***], I asked basic info and to email me with this type of claim you know for legal docs. He got mad and hung up!!
so I started receiving phone calls from this number for the past 2 weeks leaving me messages to call them back (it is an important matter)anyhow finally i picked up and it's for a lady named lakisha wong first of all my name is not lakisha wong second of all I'm not in collection and third a already told them to STOP!!!! calling me and they still do... I HATE THIS PEOPLE....

I keep getting a phone call from 213.261.0031 regarding my social security. Like I was going to give it to them! I ask the name of the company they are calling me from. The lady who answer told me there was no need for attitude and that I could call back later. All I did was to ask her the name of the company she's calling me from!!! I hang up furious, and I call back and I ask to the person who answer again what's the name of the company. She wouldn't give it to me!!!!! Don't answer this number, don't give any info. It's freaking 9 am and they call me and wake me up for this [***] [***]! [***]. They need to stop harassing people.
So i get this man calling me like a bunch of times through out the day. I dont know how he got my cell phone number so I get letters in the mail and calls with my maiden name.. Anyway, he does not want to give me information and just keeps telling me to face reality and stuff like that. I thought I should share.
This number is the newest one that started calling my girlfriend. The other ones were the same 213 area code. They always have an indian accent with a plain american name. Totally a SCAM! They even have my girlfriend SS#, birthday, and other info. Very scary. I told her to get a credit monitoring service for the meantime to play it safe. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE! DO NOT ANSWER IT EITHER. THEY HAVE WAYS OF ABUSING WHAT YOU SAY ON THE PHONE. This is not a collections agency. By law, a collections agency has to tell you who they are and specifically what they are collecting for.
