Yes, I received this call with the same message.Supposedly, Agent Jason Brown Batch 13005 from the United States Department of Treasury was calling to tell me about a law suit that has been filed against me. The Department of Treasury is suing me for a tax fraud committed against me, and I should return their call immediately before any agency comes to me fine me, take me to court, or arrest me.
Called me, left a message claiming to be Treasury and that I was about to be arrested . I called back, asked what for. They asked for my name. I asked if they had my name. They said yes and "Motherf****** A**hole" and they hung up.
Nice.
If they have an actual working U.S. phone number to call, why isn't it "traced" and these criminals arrested? I guess they could use a "throw-away" cell phone, but that runs into $$$$ and a big gamble on whether they could get at least one sucker to make that pay.
