They call with all of my banking information, my SSN, etc., trying to scare me into believing that I have felony charges against me. After telling them I do not have anything on me, and that I believe they are a scam, they re-iterate the fact that they know my information and that they are just a "courtesy call" to let me know about this.
Yes I had this company US mediation services call me and say that I have a bounced check on me from 2010 and when they asked me for payments their numbers were all over the place and they were having me send the money to Florida to a Amanda Lopez! Now from my experience debt collectors don't have you send money to a person!!?? And then they said they wanted $170 every 2 weeks that I owed $800 and if I didn't pay them at least every 2 weeks then they will prosecute me!! They first said that I owed $600 and would take 20% and then the girl said I had to call back cause her supervisor had to make sure they could help me well I never got a call back so I called her back and then the supervisor MADISON said I now owed $800 and that they wanted 35% of the $800!! Then when my girlfriend tried calling the number back there was no answer and then when they did answer a person with an accent pick up and just said HELLO??! If this was a business or debt collector why would they just say hello and if was a person with an accent?? The number is 213-261-4647 and I read on here that they are a fraud number!! Please if you can help in any way thank you
