Scammers.....beware! I too recieved the call to verify my name, when I refused the woman in a thick Indian accent said when I am ready to tell them my name, she will talk. I then got the recording that most of you all recieved, about the sheriff looking for me and that they wished me good luck and that I would be arrested and flown to San Francisco for trial and settlement for a loan I was supposed to have not paid back, yeah right!
These people have called me as well. I told the lady today that this is bullsh*t and I've already gotten the company they are suing me on the behalf of on 3 way with the man. This woman proceeded to ask me if I was [***] to which I responded excuse me can I speak to your supervisor. She then told me I was a [***] and I could only talk to her. I replied a [***]? Really? Since we're calling names you can be [***]. She hollered more offensive words that I barely understood and hung up. I called back with the phone on.speaker in front of coworkers and she went a 3 minute cussing spree and hung up. I was driving home from work with my phone in the handsfeee set up when she called back on speaker phone again with my 2 & 4 year old boys in the car when she proceeded to go on her cussing spree again. Now I have young boys walking around saying [***]. Mind you this "lawsuit" is for a $348 loan that is paid in full and they are wanting $5968 for. Also it is one of those internet loan companies they are supposedly calling in reference too.
